From the earliest days, our beer recipes followed the overriding principal that if we couldn’t sell a beer the brewer was going to have to drink all 30 gallons of it (thankfully, we never had that problem). Accordingly, balance and drinkability are hallmarks of all our beers, which are crafted to be nuanced and compelling yet easy drinking - equally suited to close scrutiny and contemplation or the simple enjoyment of a lovely beverage (or both).
Living in Northern California and surrounded by some of the world's finest artisan purveyors and restaurants, the interaction between beer and food is always top of mind. All of our beers are purposefully crafted to be friendly and complementary to a broad range of cuisines.
Belgian Pale Ale
The Belgian Pale is a crisp, medium-bodied ale with the Belgian yeast character of stone fruits and peppercorns and a floral aroma and was originally made for a World Famous restaurant we won’t name here. Finishing crisp and dry with an unmistakable old-world character, this beer also adds +4 to all Charisma saving throws

India Pale Ale
This UK-style IPA is brewed to be classically balanced in the tradition of Burton-on-Trent. Known in certain circles as “liquid wisdom,” this beer not only reveals to the drinker the mysteries of the universe but also vastly improves dancing skills.

Robust Porter
Our Robust Porter is a rich and complex beer that is a favorite of our chef and brewer friends. In addition to providing a strong and durable sense of wholeness and calm, this beer has also been proven to make the drinker highly attractive.
